Ha Yong-chan, president of Seoul Bumin Hospital, has been appointed as the next president of the Association Research Circulation Osseous (ARCO) and will serve as the president of the association for two years from 2027.
Ha Yong-chan, president of the hospital, attended the 22nd International Meeting of Association Research Circulation Osseous in Osaka, Japan, on the 6th and 7th as the chairperson of the main session and free-fest presentation.
This international academic conference of the International Society for Bone Circulation conducted 135 presentations over two days by 141 participants from all over the world under the theme of 「Improving bone health after the era of diagnosis and treatment innovation」.
The International Society of Bone Circulation was formed in France in 1985 by experts from Europe, the United States and Japan who were interested in bone blood circulation, related diseases, and bloodless necrosis.
The society is recognized as the world's only prestigious society in the field of bloodless necrosis. In particular, the diagnostic criteria, classification methods, and treatment policies for bloodless necrosis established by the International Society for Bone Circulation are used worldwide.
