Sep 03, 2024
On August 28, Hallim University Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital (Director Lee Dong-jin) opened an exhibition called 『Going On Diary" to help rediscover the meaning of life and emotional healing of cancer patients with Olympus Korea (CEO Naoki Okada) at Michael Hall in the 3rd building of the main building.
'Going-on Diary' means that their beautiful lives continue after cancer. The exhibition consists of diaries and photos of 12 cancer patients with bladder, gynecological, breast and rectal cancers being treated at Hallim University's Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital.
The exhibition was organized as part of a communication program in which patients express and share their experiences and emotions with three lines of text and photos under the themes of target diary, happiness diary, praise diary, and thank-you diary on the mobile diary app. Participants rediscover the meaning and self of life through this and help heal with support and encouragement for each other.
The exhibition participant said, "It was a precious time to look back on me and to feel that there were many people around me"I thought nothing happy happened to me, but when I thought about it while writing a diary, there were many happy moments."
Lee Dong-jin, the head of the hospital, said, `We give encouragement and applause to the patients who are coping with the difficult cancer treatment process, and thank the Olympus Korean officials for their active support in the Going On Diary program.' `Hanlim University Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital is expanding its various Wero campaigns to become a hospital that goes beyond treatment to comfort the heart.'
Meanwhile, Hallym University Gangnam Sacred Heart Hospital began the 'Wero Campaign' in 2018 with the aim of understanding and caring for patients, medical staff, and local communities.
Wero means ▲ to relieve suffering or soothe sadness with warm words or actions ▲ to increase health, happiness, and satisfaction ▲ to be our path together with both customers and faculty.
