Life-sharing social contribution agreement with Hanmaeum Blood Institute and the Federation of Korean Trade Unions

Hanmaeum Blood Center of the Korea Occupational Health Association signed a social contribution agreement with the Good Friends Industrial Welfare Foundation of the Federation of Korean Trade Unions and the Daegu, Busan, and Gyeongbuk headquarters of the Federation of Korean Trade Unions from the 25th to the 26th to donate blood and share life.
Through this agreement, each institution will work together to practice various sharing, including the development of regular blood donation campaigns and promotional campaigns in the community, the creation of a donation culture for blood donation certificates, and the use of blood donation certificates for the socially underprivileged.
Choi Eung-sik, director of the Good Friends Industrial Welfare Foundation, said "As the population of teenagers and people in their 20s decreased due to low birthrates, blood donation for middle-aged people has become a necessity, not an option. It contributes to the stabilization of blood supply by donating blood from members of the Federation of Korean Trade Unions. We will take the lead in spreading the culture of blood donation participation among middle-aged and elderly people.
Song Mi-ho, head of Hanmaeum Blood Institute, said "We are deeply grateful for the good unity of the labor union through the blood donation campaign. We will cooperate for a common goal of saving lives by maximizing the capabilities of each institution,' he said.
Meanwhile, the Daegu Regional Headquarters of the Federation of Korean Trade Unions (Chairman Chung Byung-hwa), the Busan Regional Headquarters (Chairman Lee Hae-soo), and the Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters (Chairman Kwon O-tak) vowed to actively and continue to develop blood donation campaigns.
