According to Chinese media, including China Dotcom, residents of Huizhou, Guangdong Province, reported to rescue teams at around 9 p.m. on the 28th, saying a man was entangled in a python near a residential area.
Police and rescue teams found the man stuck on the asphalt after being rolled up by a 2-meter-long python.
The rescued man was drunk and could not answer the police's question about why he was wrapped up in a snake.
The man returned home after refusing to be transferred to the hospital, saying he had no health problems.
Police are investigating whether the python came from nature or was raised by someone at home.
Residents estimated that snakes came from a wetland park near the area.
The rescue team urged "It is rare for a non-dan snake to attack a person first" and "If you find it, please report it without touching it"
