A man in Vietnam survived by hanging from a tree for nine days after being swept away by floods.

According to Vietnamese media such as VN Express, a 20-year-old Pan Mintang living in the Jiarai region of the central highlands was isolated by floods near the river on the 16th.

Fortunately, he was swept away by the rapid current and was able to escape, but fortunately, he lived by holding a branch.

Climbing the tree, he had to endure for nine days because there was no one around him.

He drank the river and slept in the trees at night, waiting for the rescue.

Then, a resident who passed on the 24th found him, reported him to the police, and a rescue team was dispatched.

When the rescue team arrived, the depth of the river where the soup was located was 4m and the distance from the ground was 30m.

As soon as he stepped on the ground, he shed tears, `I didn't think I could survive.'

His family members, who reported him missing, were also saddened to believe he was already dead.

The medical staff who treated Tang said "I have a sore throat and an infection from a wound on my foot, so I'm being treated" and "It's extremely rare to survive for that long." He was normally healthy and seems to have endured with his mental strength."
