A killer who stomped on his 3-month-old son to death left his last will before execution.

Travis Mullis, 38, was executed at a state prison in Huntsville, Texas on the morning of the 25th (local time) on charges of murder committed 16 years ago.

Before the execution, he said "I want to thank everyone. He accepted me as I was in the best and worst moments."

It has also shown that even the death row inmates are rehabilitable and not considered a threat"I thanked the guards and staff for the correctional system.

In the meantime, he regrets the decision to take his son's life"and "It's all my fault that I've come this far."

According to foreign media such as Daily Star, the execution was carried out by injecting poison, and he was pronounced dead 20 minutes after the injection.

Meanwhile, he was arrested in January 2008 for the horrific murder of his 3-month-old son.

Since he was sentenced to death in 2011, he has long been at odds with several lawyers over whether to appeal, and has suddenly given up his appeal and waited for the execution.

At the trial, prosecutors also described Mullis as a 'monster" who manipulated people, was deceptive, and refused psychiatric help.
