According to local media such as Jagran News and Uptak News, A, a woman from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India, requested a divorce from a local family counseling center, saying her husband's personal hygiene was poor. It was 40 days after they got married.
A claimed that her husband has bathed only once in the past month, and that spraying the body with holy water from the river once a week replaces the shower.
As a result, she complained that her husband's body and mouth smelled so bad that she could not be next to him and could not live together.
However, the husband countered to the counseling center that his wife was lying.
He claimed that he was taking a bath every four to five days because his wife was sensitive.
