'Hello Maple' is a block coding platform that utilizes the abundant resources and content of 'MapleStory'IP to help students learn basic coding principles easily and interestingly. Nexon added a new learning management system (LMS) function to 'MSW EDU (Maple Story World Education)' which was introduced as a beta version of 'Hello Maple' last year and reorganized the screen design to create block coding to improve the convenience and user experience of service users.
'Hello Maple' effectively increased accessibility and interest in coding education by utilizing various game environmental elements. Users can use free resources such as clothes, hair, and faces to decorate avatars that reflect their personalities and tastes, and release their own world (content).
Nexon's official world is 'Avoid to live!', 'Find the hidden picture of our school', 'Guess what! Various genres of contents that can be remade, such as 'O/X Quiz', have been prepared. In particular, you can experience more than 100 kinds of mini-game worlds, such as 'Grab the mole' and 'Bring the meat' produced by current teachers.
'HelloMaple' also provides a learning management system (LMS), a practical learning tool function that reflects the demand of the educational field in collaboration with incumbent teachers. When you join as a teacher member, you can use functions such as class opening and management, student account creation, and general account invitation in the class, and assign and evaluate assignments.
Nexon said it is conducting research and development for the release of the block-coding web version in addition to the currently available PC client version and plans to further strengthen the accessibility of the platform so that users can easily access it anytime, anywhere. It will also periodically update various official world templates to create content tailored to each individual's taste easily and quickly, promote students' creativity and motivate them to learn.
To commemorate the official launch of 'Hello Maple', Nexon will hold an event to write a review of the experience from the 2nd to the 22nd on its official website. Shin Min-seok, general director of Nexon, expects to increase user immersion through various contents as the platform was created using the 'Maple Story' IP"We will continue to actively support content and function updates and platform advancement so that anyone can enter coding education easily and interestingly like a game."," he said.
