It was argued that the fall prevention exercise of the elderly should be prescribed in consideration of individual health conditions.

Kim Dong-hwan, a rehabilitation medicine professor at Gangdong Kyunghee University Hospital, introduced the direction of the home medical pilot project rehabilitation program and the re-fracture prevention program (FLS) and the medical device Yumi's Active for hip fracture prevention through a lecture on rehabilitation medical treatment of osteoporosis patients at the Korean Rehabilitation Medical Association's Fall Conference held on the 1st. Professor Kim Dong-hwan said in his presentation on the theme, `A workout must be included in programs to prevent falls in the communityIt is most desirable to accurately evaluate your musculoskeletal condition in consideration of the progression of osteoporosis and the risk of falling, and to regularly implement appropriate exercise programs" he advised.

It is also very important to implement exercise programs not only for high-risk groups, but also for all older adults in the community, especially those who fall repeatedly, should train strength and balance under the guidance of trained professionals," he stressed.

Professor Kim said, `Fall prevention exercises for the elderly should be prescribed in consideration of individual health conditions"It is recommended to wear products that can reduce impact in preparation for falls that may occur."

He said "Fall prevention products released in Korea include Yumius Active and Yumius AirX, which are non-paying medical devices for hip fracture prevention imported from Denmark and equipped with horse-hoof protection pads. If osteoporosis patients, hip fracture surgery patients, patients with mobility impairments due to dementia or Parkinson's disease, sarcopenia patients with weak leg strength and a high risk of falling due to lack of energy, and elderly people who have a lot of outdoor activities such as hiking wear them like panties, they will have a shock reduction effect even if they fall."

Professor Dong-Hwan Kim added, "Patients with osteoporosis fractures should prioritize ways to reduce the risk of re-fracture, and it is recommended that fracture patients accurately identify their musculoskeletal conditions and set goals for rehabilitation exercises, while also receiving help from experts and wearing hip protectors for periodic evaluation and fracture prevention."
