The Korea Racing Authority (Chairman Jung Ki-hwan) held an event to celebrate the 75th anniversary of its foundation at its headquarters in Gwacheon on the 26th and strengthened its will to innovate for a new leap forward.

The history of the Korean Horse Racing Association begins with 'Joseon Horse Racing Club', which introduced horse racing on the stage along the Han River near Ichon-dong in 1922. The Joseon Horse Racing Club was reborn as the Joseon Horse Racing Club in 1942, and on September 29, 1949, it was renamed the Korean Horse Racing Club as it is now, and has continued its history until now.

The commemorative event, which was held to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the Korean Horse Association, was attended by executives and employees of the Korean Horse Association, officials from related organizations such as Maju, assistant teachers, flag bearers, and racehorse producers, as well as key agricultural and livestock industry figures, including Ha Won-oh, chairman of the National Farmers' Association, and Lee Seung-ho, chairman of the Korea Agricultural and Livestock Association.

He then stressed that "the starting point for the Korean Horse Association to face a future of more than 100 years beyond its 75th anniversary lies in securing global competitiveness through endless challenges and innovation."
