A total of five social and economic enterprises selected for the support project were selected: 「Korea Special Products Distribution」, which works with local farmers to process and distribute agricultural products,"Hyangchondang Co., Ltd., which operates the third-generation mill and cotton frame house as a cafe and mill,"Dable" which develops a maternal newborn health care service program for married migrant women,"Wellfish Co., Ltd., which develops local food food and companion animal snacks using Tongyeong Eel, and"Amity" which provides cooking instructor training services for married migrant women.
The selected companies will receive up to 20 million won in project cost and support to grow into social economy companies that lead the revitalization of the local economy, including one-on-one professional consulting.
Park Kyung-ho, CEO of Korea Special Products Distribution Co., Ltd., who was selected for the support project, said, "Social and economic enterprises have had a hard time this year, and the support project for local revitalization is as welcome as welcome rain. We will continue to contribute to the creation of stable income for local farmers and reward them with more active activities for local revitalization.", he expressed his feelings.
