The Korea Racing Authority (Chairman Chung Ki-hwan) will hold the 'Retired Race Horse Racing Championship' at the 88 Horse Racing Stadium in Seoul, Let's Run Park, from Oct. 4-5.

The Korea Racing Authority is promoting various horse welfare projects by forming a dedicated organization to help racehorses show their abilities and lead meaningful lives even after retirement, which is part of the championship competition for racehorses within three years of retirement and aims to create a foundation for various use of retired racehorses.

In order to participate in the competition, both horse owners and athletes must complete the Horse Welfare Education, and through the Horse Welfare Watchman System, officials and operating members of the Horse Welfare Center will continuously check whether abuse has occurred during practice for participation in the competition to contribute to strengthening awareness of horse welfare.

On this day, the horse society will prepare not only horse riding competitions but also various events such as online horse welfare quizzes, sending retired racehorses cheering comments, and making horse plaster air fresheners to increase the interest of the general audience.

Chung Ki-hwan, Chairman of the Korean Horse Association, continued to push for Durbret welfare projects so that retired racehorses can find and utilize the second role early"This event is expected to have a positive impact on enhancing the welfare of retired racehorses as well as strengthening the welfare awareness of the private sector, revitalizing the passenger training industry, and fostering high-quality horseback riding resources." he said.
