 Korean Horse Racing Society to Open Digital Race Watching Idea Contest
The Korea Racing Authority (Chairman Jung Ki-hwan) announced on August 30 that it will hold a 'Chugye University (graduate) Student Idea Contest' to discover novel contents that will improve customers' digital horse racing viewing experience.

The competition is co-hosted by the Korea Association of Quality Management (Chairman Park Hee-joon) and the Korea Reliability Association (Chairman Kim Dae-kyung), organized by the Korea Racing Association, and designed to discover new ideas from the younger generation in improving the overall quality of customer viewing spaces and services in line with changes in the digital technology-based horse racing business environment.

The theme of the contest is ① Digital-based horse racing viewing spaces (three horse racing park stands nationwide, 26 over-the-counter sales stations nationwide) ② Digital-based horse racing viewing service quality improvement can be selected, and additional points will be given if the topic is selected ①.

The deadline for submitting applications and abstracts is September 27th (Friday). The participants are university students or graduate students attending domestic universities, and teams who submitted applications by the 27th can submit their ideas for improving digital-based horse racing viewing spaces and services to the Korea Quality Management Association by October 20 with presentation materials (PPTs) and presentation videos within 10 minutes.

The submitted data will be awarded 3 million won to a total of 10 teams, including 1 team (1 million won), 2 teams for the best prize (500,000 won each), 3 teams for the excellence prize (200,000 won each), and 4 teams for the incentive prize (100,000 won each). If the winner applies for a youth internship in the Korean Horse Association, the exemption from document screening is provided only if the qualification requirements are met. Jang Byung-woon, head of the Future Space Strategy Promotion Team of the Korea Racing Authority, said "With the introduction of an online horserace release service, the Korea Racing Authority is at an important turning point to drastically improve its customers' horse racing experience. Through this competition, we want to get a variety of suggestions that make the horse racing viewing space attractive to the younger generation."We ask for the interest and participation of students with fresh ideas."," he said.
