 Korean Racing Authority implements a pledge ceremony to comply with the KRA Safety Rule 'Safety First Goal'

On the 25th, the Korea Racing Authority (Chairman Chung Ki-hwan) held a pledge of compliance ceremony in the conference room of the Korea Racing Authority's main building, with 10 executives, representatives of each union, subsidiaries, and union representatives gathered to create a safe working environment and reduce industrial accidents, which are joint goals of the union and management, parent companies, and subsidiaries.

The pledge ceremony was implemented to strengthen the will to comply with the KRA Safety Rule, a newly enacted safety rule, to spread safety culture and protect the safety and health of all workers working in the Korean Horse Association.

The 'KRA Safety Rule' is five rules that actively introduced the 'My Safety Rule' campaign, a core project of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's Safety and Culture Practice Promotion Team, and was enacted by identifying frequent accident patterns and deriving rules to prevent industrial accidents in the Korean Horse Association in the last five years based on data analysis.

With 2024 as the starting point for the spread of safety culture, the Korean Horse Association established a mid- to long-term safety culture promotion plan for the first time in the institution. Since then, it has established an annual plan based on its own employee safety culture level diagnostic survey and is actively implementing it.

Chang Yu-jin, head of the Korea Racing Authority, expressed his strong will and aspiration for the safety of the Korean Racing Authority, saying, "The Korean Racing Authority is currently holding an in-house safety task competition and will carry out various safety campaigns for workers, customers, and residents based on the KRA Safety Rule in the future."
