The Public Participation Innovation Group is a representative national communication channel of the Korean Horse Association launched to listen to and reflect the opinions of the people in all areas of management of the Korean Horse Association, from setting the direction of the project to the process of return. Previously, the Korean Horse Association has continued to communicate with the public through the operation of the Youth Participation Innovation Group (2022), which consists of 25 first-timers in their 20s and 30s, and the National Participation Innovation Group (2023), which consists of 54 family members in their 20s and 40s, and a total of 54 first-timers.
In particular, this year, we recruited a total of 12 youth members, four applicants from each field of E, S, and G, and one expert member from each field to mentor the youth members. Through this, it is expected that the members will focus on the field in charge and give a better and more novel voice.
Twelve youth members selected through an open recruitment in August will visit the horse racing park in person and suggest improvement measures from the public's perspective. Excellent membership certificates and incentives will be given to members who have shown excellent performance through sincere participation. It will also conduct mentoring activities to support young people's employment.
The Public Participation Innovation Team, which participated in the appointment ceremony, said "Before coming to the horse racing park in person, there was vaguely negative perception of horse racing. Hearing about the organization's social contribution activities, touring the horse racing park in person, and participating in the horse racing felt that the Korean Horse Association was a great help to society through sound leisure projects. "I want to help the Korean Horse Association become a greater force to the people by suggesting fresh ideas." expressed his aspirations.
Chu Wan-ho, head of the management division of the Korea Racing Authority, said "We will actively review the valuable opinions suggested by the Public Participation Innovation Group and reflect them in the project so that institutional management can be achieved from the public's perspective."He encouraged the active activities of the Public Participation Innovation Group.
