Ukraine claimed that Russia has suffered more than 650,000 casualties since its invasion in February 2022.

According to foreign media such as RBC Ukraine and NDTV, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced on the 29th that the Russian military's casualties were 651,810.

It also said it lost 25,495 tanks, 17,476 armored combat vehicles and vehicles.

In addition, 18,795 artillery systems, 1,204 multi-launch rocket systems, 962 air defense systems, 369 aircraft, 328 helicopters, 16,186 drones, 28 ships and boats, and one submarine were also destroyed, it said.

No information on Ukraine's damage was provided, but the Wall Street Journal previously quoted sources as saying that as of early this year, 80,000 Ukrainian troops were killed and 400,000 wounded.

In the end, the number of casualties in both armies exceeded 1 million. It is estimated that the number will more than double if civilian damage is added.
