Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital ranks second nationwide in patient experience evaluation"Providing the best medical services"

Cheonan Hospital (Hospital Director Park Hyung-guk) affiliated with Soonchunhyang University recently ranked second in the nation in the 「4th Patient Experience Assessment」 published by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service.
Patient experience evaluation is a patient's direct evaluation of the quality of hospital medical services, which has been in place since 2017 to spread patient-centered medical culture and promote public health.
This evaluation was conducted on discharged patients from 374 medical institutions in general hospitals nationwide for about five months from August to December 2023.
Suncheonhyang University Cheonan Hospital ranked second in the country with a comprehensive score of 94.59 in six areas, including ▲ nurse service ▲ doctor service ▲ medication and treatment process ▲ hospital environment ▲ patient rights guarantee ▲ overall evaluation. The average score for hospitals nationwide is 81.3.
Park Hyung-guk, the head of the hospital, thanked the teachers and staff for their hard work in caring for patients based on the founding philosophy of Suncheonhyang 'Human Love'"After the opening of the new hospital scheduled for February 2025, we will provide the best medical services in better facilities and environments."
Meanwhile, Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital is undergoing the final construction of the new hospital. The new hospital is being built on the northern side of the current hospital with 15 stories above ground and five stories below ground. It is planned to be completed in December 2024 and to complete the relocation and opening by February 2025.
