Cheonan Hospital (Hospital President Park Hyung-guk) affiliated with Soonchunhyang University conducted a joint training of public-private forces in response to new infectious diseases at the Shilla Stay Cheonan banquet hall on the 25th with the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Chungcheong Disease Response Center.

As part of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention 'Infectious Disease Hospital-centered Medical Response System Establishment Project', the training was designed to establish a systematic medical response system for local governments and related organizations in the event of a new infectious disease patient in the region.

▲ Daejeon Metropolitan City (Daejeon City Hall, Armed Forces Medical Research Institute, Korea Armed Forces Daejeon Hospital, Chungnam National University Hospital, Daejeon Veterans Hospital) ▲ Sejong Special Self-Governing City (Sejong City Hall) ▲ Chungcheongnam-do (Chungnam Fire Headquarters, Chungnam Provincial Office, Cheonan City Hall, Asan Chungmu Hospital) ▲ Chungcheongbuk-do (Chungbuk Provincial Office, Chungbuk National University Hospital) participated in the training.

The training conducted as an iconographic training was conducted on the assumption that a suspected patient of a new infectious disease (Disease X) entering the hospital's emergency room was visited.

Participating organizations discussed how to establish a medical response system such as ▲ early awareness ▲ rapid response ▲ prevention of spread ▲ prevention management by situation and step and performing each role in training.

Park Hyung-guk, the head of the hospital, said "In the event of a new infectious disease that may arise at any time, it is an essential training as related organizations must respond organically together."
