Update AI mystery game 'Uncover the Smoking Gun' and latest TTS model 'Dito' to game

Krafton-affiliated creative studio Lelu Games updated the AI mystery game 'Uncover the Smoking Gun' on the 12th.
In this update, we applied the state-of-the-art Text-to-Speech (TTS) model 'DiTTo' to the game based on collaboration with Krafton. DITO is a TTS model developed by Krafton's deep learning headquarters this year, and this is the first time it has actually been applied to games.
DITO is an example of applying Diffusion Transformer to speech synthesis, and it is much more natural and flexible than many existing TTS technologies, the company said. Diffusion Transformer is a state-of-the-art AI modeling technique that combines the step-by-step data generation process of diffusion models with the superior correlation learning ability of transformers.
Dito simplifies AI's model training process to implement new voices faster and more accurately, Krafton emphasized, providing a level of AI speech that is very similar to real human speech.
Through this update, robot suspects in the game will provide answers to questions in AI voice as well as existing text. Currently, only English voice is provided, and various foreign languages, including Korean, are also planned to support AI voice in the future.
The update also added three languages, Portuguese, Italian, and Polish, to the game's official supporting languages, which were previously eight, and released the game's original soundtrack (OST) as DLC. In line with this large-scale update, special discounts will be held on Steam for two weeks from the 12th to the 26th. Users can purchase the original game and DLC at a discounted price.
