A famous American businessman paid more than 3.7 billion won in compensation for installing hidden cameras in his babysitter's room.

Michael Esposito (35), the head of a U.S. chicken fast food company, hired Colombian-born Kelly Andrade (25), as a nanny, according to a lawsuit filed in Brooklyn federal court reported by The Sun and other foreign media.

Esposito then filmed her life hiding a hidden camera inside a fire detector on Andrade's bedroom ceiling.

The video was filmed with private scenes, including the nanny's naked body and changing clothes.

Andrade was shocked when he found a hidden camera three weeks after working.

When the identity of the hidden camera was revealed, the landlord Esposito attempted to force open the nanny's room that was locked.

Eventually, the nanny ran through the window and called the police. In the process, he also injured his knee.

Esposito, who was caught by police, was detained but released on the condition that he hired a luxury defense team to complete two years of probation and counseling.

Andrade filed a lawsuit seeking Esposito's imprisonment, and the court finally ruled $2 million in punitive damages and $780,000 in psychological distress. However, the probation was maintained.
