Vice-President of Medical Affairs Yoon Eul-sik of Korea University, President of the Korea Private University Hospital Association, to serve consecutive terms"Role in the Medical Crisis"

Yun Eul-sik, Vice-President and Medical Director of Korea University, has been reappointed as the 10th President of the Korea Private University Hospital Association. The term of office is two years from September 2024.
Yoon Eul-sik, who was born in 1964 and graduated from Korea University Medical School, served as the 30th president of Anam Hospital, and is currently the 17th Vice-Chancellor and Medical Director of Korea University and the 4th President of the Korea Training Hospital Council. In addition, he has been engaged in various external activities, including the chairman of the Korean Society of Plastic Surgeons and the president of the Korean Society of Breast Plastic Surgeons, and is known to have introduced and developed robotic breast reconstruction surgery for the first time in Korea.
In his second term speech, Yoon said he would achieve the goal of improving the health of the people by actively listening to on-site opinions for the development of medical policies and establishing in-depth measures to advance health policies. In addition, "I will continue to interact with member hospitals for the development of medical care in Korea amid a prolonged crisis and actively communicate with the association so that it can play its role."
Meanwhile, the Korea Private University Hospital Association was established in 2007 and has actively shared information among private university hospitals and suggested the direction of health care policies. It serves as a communication channel for the development of the medical community and the promotion of public health through exchanges between 56 private university hospitals that are currently members.
