Last weekend, the Jubernail series to determine the next generation of Korean horse racing in Let's Run Park Seoul and Busan, Korea Racing Authority (Chairman Jung Ki-hwan), kicked off.

The Juvenile Series, the second-generation top horse selection, will run three times from September to November. The first and second races will be contested by region in Seoul and Busan, and the last race will be against Seoul and Busan. As the first gate of the series, the winner of the Munhwa Ilbo Cup (Listen Class, 2nd generation male and female in Korea, 1,200m) held in Seoul on the 7th was won by 'Silverlane'. Then, the Gangseo-gu Office of Busan Metropolitan City held in Busan on the 8th ended with the victory of 'WinnerClear'.

The race, which was held by a day, drew attention as the match was decided with a similar development. In the Munhwa Ilbo Cup, the winner of the championship 'Silverlane (Buma: Touner & Serve, Jama: Fleet Causeway)' was placed in second place and took the lead along with 'The Age of Masterpiece'. In the race, which was followed by fierce competition, the victory or defeat was decided as 'Silverlane' showed its last-minute hindsight in the 200m front of the final. The second place was won by the era of "The Classic", which had been in first place throughout the race.

The grand race for the Gangseo-gu District Office in Busan, which was newly established this year, was organized as the first race of the Juvenile series. The winner horse 'Winner Clear (Buma: KLIMT, Mom: ClearCreedance)' was placed at the top of the list with a quick start and competed for the top spot with 'Yongbi-defeated King'. After staying in first place throughout the race, 'WinnerClear' showed off even more surprising spurt as it entered the straight line, winning wire-to-wire.

The winner of the Juvenile Gate 1 Seoul 'Silverlane' and Busan 'WinnerClear' showed the potential of 'Super Cotyledons' by winning the competition with 4 horse and 10 horse races (1 horse race = about 2.4m), respectively. With this race, assistant teacher Ahn Byung-ki of Article 22 of Seoul won his first trophy in five years, and Cho Geun-sik, who debuted as Ma-ji this year, held his first trophy in his arms. Through this race, Baek Kwang-yeol, an assistant teacher, and Lee Jong-hoon, who are active in Busan's horse racing, found a cotyledon that will succeed 'betelgeuse'.

In addition, this race was applauded by fans as the riders (athletes) who had been thirsty for the grand prize race were proudly named. Jung-hee Jung (winning rate 6.5%, double winning rate 13.6%) won the Daesang race for the first time in three years as the Munhwa Ilbo Cup, while Jin Gyeom (winning rate 9.1% and double winning rate 19.5%) was honored to win the race for the first time in five years since the Gyeongnam Provincial Ilbo Cup in 2019. It is expected that both riders will continue to grow steadily as they are riding a good trend with constant efforts.

Meanwhile, the unpredictable race of the second-generation horses, which grows day by day, will continue again on Oct. 20 with the second race of Juvenile at the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (L,1400m) and the Gimhae Market Boat in Busan. Attention is focusing on whether the main character of the unusual event, who will add to the fun of the game like last year's 'LaRakei', will reappear on the race track in October.
