Let's Run Park Seoul, which is full of visitors and park visitors on weekends, is expected to be crowded with more people this week. This is because many unique races will be held on the 7th before the Korea Cup, the largest international race in Korea on the 8th, including the Munhwa Ilbo Cup, which finds promising race horses from overseas countries, and the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Governor's Cup, which selects the best mares in Korea.

Starting with the Seoul 1R GC (South Africa) Trophy special race at 1:55 p.m. on the 7th, SLTC (Malaysia) and JRA (Japan) Trophy races will be held in succession. Officials from each country will also attend and watch the elevated level and viewing culture of Korean horse racing, which is emerging as a horse racing powerhouse in Asia.

The 11th Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Governor's Cup (Korean mares over 3 years old, 1,400m, ranking prize money of 500 million won) will be held in Seoul 5R, and will be the first gate of the Queen's Tour F/W to select the strongest domestic mare, followed by the Gyeongsangnam-do Governor's Cup in October and the Breeders' Cup Queen in November. Like a grade race, a large number of excellent mares such as 'Joyful Journey', 'Wonderful Slu', 'Eclipsebury' will compete.

Coincidentally, both 'Wonderful Slu' and 'Eclipsebury' have won trophies in major mare races such as KNN Cup and Korean Oaks with rider Moon Se-young.

The defending champion of the previous year, 'Happy Journey', won the Dong-A Ilbo Cup and the Ttukseom Cup in succession to challenge the honor of the Queen's Tour S/S Samgwan, but suffered in the last gateway, the KNN Cup, and only ranked 9th, shocking. This is why more attention is being paid to whether he will be able to win two consecutive victories with revenge in the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Governor's Cup.

The 29th Seoul 8R Munhwa Ilbo Cup (Korean 2nd generation male and female, 1,200m, ranking prize money of 200 million won) will feature 'Eclipse Black' who joined the Eclipse Corps along with 'The Age of Masterpiece' and 'Silverlane', which will be a fiery competition for new racehorses.

An official from the Korea Racing Authority said "We are striving to present horse racing as a sound leisure sport by strengthening sportsmanship through this systematic series of races."I hope you enjoy a comfortable weekend evening while watching the thrilling race and enjoying various events."
