Let's Run Park Busan Gyeongnam (Director Eom Young-seok) of the Korea Racing Authority delivered 40 million won in donations to the Start-up Incubating project to support local start-up companies on the 11th.

The 'Start-up Incubation' project was designed to secure the self-sustainability of companies in Busan and to increase jobs in the local community. The project supports start-up costs and expert coaching for prospective founders and startups in the social economy sector, and helps to build a network where young people and local communities can cooperate together.

The delivery ceremony was held at the main building of the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Racing Authority, attended by Um Young-seok, head of the Busan Plan Yoo Chul, CEO of Busan Plan, Lee Jo-mo, CEO of Kim Ji-in, Urban Light Lee Myung-ho, chairman of Good Morning Social Cooperative Lee Dong-hyuk, and Jang Seung-po Village Management Cooperative Kim Sang-min.

The Entrepreneurship Incubating, which is promoted through the Busan Plan, will support a total of 40 million won by selecting six prospective start-ups and new companies that have succeeded in starting a business through a public offering and screening process since April. Start-up companies are supported with product development costs, and all selected companies are supported with business operation consulting, certification-acquired customized education, and public relations and marketing education programs.

Eom Young-seok, head of the Busan-Gyeongnam regional division of the Korea Racing Authority, said, `We hope this project will help the youth and the region coexist and revitalize the local economy.' `We will continue to provide various support so that local companies with self-reliance can drive the development of local communities.'

Meanwhile, Let's Run Park Busan and Gyeongnam have been discovering and supporting 17 local start-ups with a scale of 150 million won for three years from 2022. In addition, it is carrying out various projects for local employment, such as creating 677 jobs directly or indirectly.
