The woman complained of leniency, saying she was drunk and unconscious.
According to US media such as USA Today, a 47-year-old woman named Patricia Sierra was recently arrested for breaking into a funeral home in Las Vegas, Nevada, and taking out a body she had been storing.
CCTV footage shows that she dragged the coffin from the funeral home out of the door and rolled it down the stairs, leaving the body on the road and running away,
At the time, Sierra was dressed in the same costume as the Grim Reaper, but she was caught by the police after a report by a clerk who thought she was suspicious after stopping at a convenience store.
In a police investigation, she said "I often lose consciousness due to drug abuse issues, but I can't remember after drinking six beers on the day of the incident."
He said he had no intention of stealing the body and no malice towards the deceased
Police charged her with illegal intrusion, theft, and moving remains.
