The event, which was attended by more than 10 medical staff and volunteers, including Jeong Jin-seok, head of the Yudi Dental Clinic in Gwangju Hak-dong, and Kim Hyun-seop, head of the Gwangju Sangmu Yudi Dental Clinic, was held as part of the Yudi Care Campaign, which has been going on for 13 years since 2012. This campaign, a social contribution project that provides medical services to the medical underprivileged and low-income people in the blind spot of medical welfare, has been conducting sharing treatment since 2016 with equipment for professional dental treatment.
The Gwangju Veterans Nursing Home of the Korea Veterans Welfare Service is operated to provide systematic and professional long-term care services to people of national merit, their bereaved families, and local residents who have difficulty in daily life due to senile diseases such as dementia and stroke.
The Yudith Department conducted oral examinations, preventive treatment, simple treatment, denture repair and washing for more than 200 elderly residents of nursing homes. In addition, Yuddi Dental Clinic sponsored oral products and denture care sets to seniors and residents who participated in the event to help with dental care, and Yudi Nursing Academy sponsored health functional food 'Yudi Vitamin C 1000'.
In addition, on the 27th, the Gwangju Senior Citizens' Dental Clinic will conduct a dental bus examination to promote medical welfare for the elderly who use the Dongdorak Senior Welfare Center.
