The Korea Sports Promotion Corporation (Chairman Cho Hyun-jae) held a ceremony to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the race at Gwangmyeong Spideome Gwangmyeong Hall on the 11th.

More than 150 people attended the ceremony, including Chairman Cho Hyun-jae, standing auditor Ha Hyung-joo, executive director Park Yong-cheol, head of the Gyeongryun Police Headquarters Lee Seong-cheol, former and current executives, first-term racers, and customer representatives, and it was held in the order of watching 30-year record videos, declaring promises with customers, awarding outstanding employees, delivering merit plaques, and delivering 30-year history.

He delivered commendations to 55 outstanding employees to encourage their hard work, and he delivered a plaque of merit to five people, including Heo Eun-hoe, who has been active since the opening of the race since 1994, and Kim Sang-soo, former head of Gyeongju, who contributed to the development of the race business.

In particular, at the ceremony, the Korea Racing Authority declared a `promise with customers' to open a new 30 years.

Appointments with customers, the first step, started quickly from the beginning of this year. All departments joined forces to think about the future development direction of the business and customer requirements, and established a draft appointment with customers. Since then, a heated internal discussion has been held, and the final draft has been finalized through a process of collecting opinions directly from the customer advisor, who is a party to the appointment.

Appointment with thirty-year-old, bicycle, and correctional customers

Promises with customers largely consisted of ▶ exciting race operation ▶ improvement of customer service ▶ role centered on community sports culture ▶ practice of social responsibility and ESG management.

The first exciting race operation is using artificial intelligence (AI) to develop an athlete ranking evaluation index and organize data, provide various image information from race preparation to refereeing, and operate various race methods. The second promise, customer service improvement, is to strengthen the convenience of the online release system and improve customer service at this chapter and over-the-counter branches.

The third appointment, to play a role centered on community sports culture, will further expand bicycle repair for local residents, safe bicycle learning classes for children, and track classes for bicycle hobbyists, and open the Speedom Sports Culture Center in 2026.

Lastly, for the implementation of social responsibility and ESG management, we will establish a step-by-step over-immersion prevention program, strengthen efforts to eradicate illegal gambling, establish a new renewable energy foundation, introduce a correctional electric boat, and carry out unique social contribution activities.
