According to the New York Post and other foreign media and social media 'Reddit', a family in Virginia found a stone-hardened biscuit while organizing their grandmother's refrigerator, who died a month ago at the age of 90.
This biscuit in the freezer was accompanied by a note saying 'Biscuits made at home in Blankenship in August 1940'.
After inquiring, the family, who thought it was a meaningful biscuit, concluded that the deceased grandmother made it for her brother, who is about to participate in World War II.
Grandma had kept biscuits in the freezer for 84 years.
The family decided to keep the grandmother's will in another freezer.
One of the family members was puzzled when they first found the biscuit"It's a 'sweet bittersweet' discovery for my family," he said.
