Arc Protection Center holds a one-day companion experience event to promote temporary protection and adoption

Arc Protection Center, Korea's first food dog shelter, conducted the 2nd '1 Day Companion Project, One Night with ARK' at Balance Dog in Yangpyeong from the 19th to the 20th.

Under the theme of 'Cooking Dogs out Dog In', this two-day event became a fun venue where 14 dogs and 10 arc shelter dogs were combined together while experiencing a detached hanok, a large yard, a swimming pool, and a camping site.

The purpose of this event at the Arc Shelter, which has been steadily campaigning to improve awareness of large and edible dogs, was to increase the number of temporary guardians first. Currently, temporary guardians were given a chance to heal, while applicants considering temporary protection were provided with an experience opportunity to spend time with shelter dogs in advance. On the contrary, it was an opportunity for dogs to practice preliminary dogs to spend time with people indoors in advance as an opportunity to communicate.

This year's event was also held at Your Pet Story, a studio specializing in pets, to take profile pictures for adoption, and Cafe YangJa fully supported it.

Meanwhile, the Ark shelter, which was protecting more than 250 food dogs rescued from illegal dog farms in 2021, has sent more than half of them for adoption despite the twists and turns, and is currently protecting 119 dogs.
