Blind old couple stay together for four days without knowing their son's death

According to India Today and other local media, residents of a village in Nagole, Hyderabad, India, reported to the police on the 28th (local time) that their neighbor's house smelled bad.
When the dispatched police entered the house, they saw an elderly couple in their 60s with a visual impairment lying tired of hunger. Even more shocking was the body of a 30-year-old son found in a small room. As the body decomposed, the odor was bad.
According to the investigation, the son was presumed to have died while sleeping after serving food to his parents four days ago.
The couple, unaware of their son's death, kept calling him for food and water but told police they had received no response.
Also, I couldn't ask my neighbors for help because I couldn't see and I couldn't move my limbs because of my weak energy.
Police said they will conduct an autopsy on the body for an accurate investigation of the cause of death.
The elderly couple was handed over to their eldest son living in another area.
