A car accident hit by a metal part that flew into the vehicle while driving

According to local media such as Amarin TV, a 42-year-old truck driver Atapong Top Tim Tong, who was driving on a road in Chonburi Province, Thailand, was hit by a metal object that penetrated the front window on the 26th of last month and lost consciousness. The truck capsized in a ditch across the street.
Police and paramedics who arrived at the scene found the driver lying down with skull fractures and chest bruises and rushed him to the hospital.
He is now in a coma and is said to be in critical condition.
Police have launched an investigation into a metal object in the car.
A maintenance shop explained that it is a type of part underneath the vehicle, and that it is unlikely to have fallen off the vehicle on its own given that it is almost new.
Police analyzing CCTV footage are investigating whether the parts were thrown from another vehicle or whether another vehicle stepped on the fallen one and bounced it.
