Indian business tycoon Ratan Naval Tata, who recently passed away, reportedly left a legacy of more than 100 billion won for his dog.

According to local media such as India.COM, Ratan Tata, honorary chairman of Tata Group, India's largest automaker, passed away at the age of 86 on the 9th (local time).

Since the 2000s, Tata has acquired famous companies such as Chorus and Jaguar Land Rover, and in 2004, it acquired Korea's Daewoo and changed its name to Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicle.

After his death, the will was released, and most of his assets, Rs 10,000 crore (about 100 billion won), was left to his dog 'Tito'.

Chairman Tata, who is not married, has no children.

Tata adopted German Shepherd Teetto, a stray dog, about six years ago after losing his previous dog.

In his will, he stated that for his beloved dog, Tito, an environment should be prepared to care for him with 'unlimited care'.

He also inherited a significant portion of his wealth to those who helped with the housework, including Konar Suvia, a butler who had been around for more than 30 years, and Rajan Shaw, a chef.

However, his biological brother Jimmy Tata and half-siblings Shireen and Dianna Jeboy left only a few properties.

Meanwhile, Noel Tata (67), Tata's half-brother, was in charge of the new head of Tata Group with annual sales of more than 135 trillion won.

The Tata Trust, which effectively controls the Tata Group, unanimously elected Noel Tata.

Chairman Noel Tata has been chairman of Trent, a fast fashion retailer, since 2014, showing his managerial ability.
