Completion of international exchange program with Hallym University and National University of Singapore

The Department of Nursing at Hallym University (President Choi Yang-hee) held the '2024 International Exchange Program' with the National University of Singapore at the hospitals under Hallym University and Hallym University Medical Center for 3 days from September 23 to 25.
This international exchange program aims to expand international exchange and academic cooperation among nursing students and foster leading human resources in the global healthcare field. In particular, it is designed to explore and experience innovation cases of digital healthcare and smart hospitals.
During this exchange, National University of Singapore nursing students visited Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital under Hallym University and Hallym University Medical Center and Hallym University Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital to experience Korea's state-of-the-art medical technology and smart hospital operation system firsthand, allowing them to learn about Korea's digital healthcare technology and smart ward systems in depth along with a broad understanding of Korea's nursing and medical systems.
In addition, through various academic seminars and on-site tours, Hallym University and Hallym University Medical Center took time to tour advanced medical technology sites such as robot stations, drug delivery systems, and robot-based directions and kiosks at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital, and students communicated with medical staff and nursing departments to enhance their practical understanding of digital innovation and smart ward operations in Korea.
"Through this international exchange, students of the National University of Singapore's nursing college had a valuable opportunity to directly experience Korea's advanced medical technology and smart hospital systems. We hope that through this, we will promote the excellence of Korean nursing and medical care to the international community and further develop into a person who will lead the development of global healthcare," said Yoon Geum-sun, an adjunct professor of nursing at the Department of Nursing (Hallim University).
Professor Lee Jung-min of the Department of Nursing also said, "Through this exchange program, we were able to realize the vision of medical innovation and global talent development at Hallym University Medical Center."We will continue to promote innovation and development in the field of digital healthcare through continuous international cooperation and exchanges in the future."
