A hotel bartender in a famous Greek resort accidentally provides liquid detergent, and tourists are being hospitalized.

According to the British media Daily Mail, a five-star hotel bartender in Heraclion, Crete, Greece, accidentally provided tourists with detergent instead of alcohol.

Five of the tourists who drank it are receiving treatment.

According to the investigation, the 29-year-old bartender sold the liquid in the glass bottle in the refrigerator thinking it was 'Chicudia', a traditional Greek liquor.

However, it was a high-acid liquid detergent.

The five people, who thought it was alcohol, were rushed to the hospital, but they are known to be in critical condition.

Police and health authorities have closed the store and are continuing their investigation.

Netizens are asking "Why do you keep detergent in the refrigerator?", "What's wrong with the level of a five-star hotel?", Questions such as "Isn't it intentional?" are being expressed.
