Gachon University Gil Hospital holds a life-sharing concert with the Korea Organ tissue donor

Gachon University Gil Hospital held a 'Life Sharing Accompanied Concert' hosted by the Korea Organ Organization Donator (Director Lee Sam-yeol) in the lobby of the hospital's main building on the 14th.
The concert was attended by Park Yeon-ho, head of the Organ Transplantation Center at Gachon University Gil Hospital, and Lee Sam-yeol, head of the Korean Organ Organ Organ Organ Organization Donator, to share the importance and beauty of life sharing under the theme of 「Life added by sharing, tomorrow added by joint」. A promotional booth was also operated to improve awareness of organ donation.
At the concert, the donor's bereaved family and transplant recipients attended the talk concert and shared the noble value of life sharing with the participants. The story of Kim Mi-young, a bereaved family member who decided to donate organs despite the sadness of losing her husband in March this year, and the story of Lim Hae-chul, a vocalist who received a brain-dead heart transplant more than a decade ago and lives a healthy life, resonated greatly with the audience.
After the talk concert, the Sound of Life Choir and String Quartet were performed. The Sound of Life Choir, consisting of organ donation bereaved families and beneficiaries, received a loud ovation for its heartfelt chorus toward families and donors, such as ' on a wonderful day in October, 'In Dreams' and 'Get Up Again'.
Gachon University Gil Hospital opened the organ transplant center in 1991 and has succeeded in surgery in various transplant fields such as heart, liver, and kidney, contributing to the milestone of organ transplantation in Korea. In 2002, it was designated as a specialized organization (HOPO) for the management of brain-dead people that comprehensively manages brain-dead people.
Kim Woo-kyung, head of Gachon University Gil Hospital, said "All medical staff, including the organ transplant center, will also do their best to ensure that the noble sacrifice and love of the donor are not in vain, and that even one more person can be saved.'
