Gangbuk Yeonse Hospital visited the Gangneung-si Fisheries Cooperative in Gangwon-do on the 20th and provided medical services to more than 100 members and local residents.

Gangbuk Yeonse Hospital dispatched a total of 24 professional medical personnel, including Kim Yong-chan, director of the knee/hip clinic, Park Kyu-hyung, director of the shoulder/ upper limb clinic, Shin Won-joo, and nurses and physical therapists, for medical service, and carefully examined the joint and spinal health of local residents who took difficult steps to physical therapy, extracorporeal shock wave therapy, and injection therapy under the prescription and treatment of specialists.

"We are reminded that there are many places that need specialized medical services through medical services, and Gangbuk Yeonse Hospital will continue sharing medical activities that closely examine patients in need in the future," said Kim Yong-chan, head of Gangbuk Yeonse Hospital.

Cho Kwang-woon, head of the Gangneung-si Fisheries Cooperative Association, said "The joint health is not good because the elderly have to continue working even when they get older. Also, I have to go to Seoul because there is no suitable specialized hospital nearby, but I am grateful that you come to take care of the elderly in person like this."

Meanwhile, Gangbuk Yeonse Hospital held an agreement ceremony with the Gangneung-si Fisheries Cooperative on the same day and promised close medical cooperation for joint and spinal health of members and local seniors.
