The event was designed to inform domestic and foreign investors, gamers, and students preparing to start businesses in related fields of excellent game developers operating in Gyeonggi-do under the theme of 'Game, Connect Industry.' KyungConjin explained that it is a follow-up support project for game companies that received feedback from users and investors at the largest game show in the Seoul metropolitan area 'PlayX4' held in May.
The first day of the two-day event is a promotional and communication event centered on outside visitors, and the second day is an investment and seminar event centered on business meetings.
On the 30th, the concert will be held with an orchestra celebration performance that arranges the insertion songs of the indie games 'Sannabi' and 'Witch's Spring R'. In the following indie game showcase, Gino Games' 'Hello Seoul: Itaewon Edition' and Lizard Smoothie's 'Shape of Dream' experience zone will be operated.
At the talk concert, five experts will talk about the theme of 「Game Publishing and Investment Attraction Know-how」. Yeom Dong-hyun, director of the game content school at Cheonggang Industrial and Cultural University, will be the chairperson, and Kim Hyuk-jin, team leader of Neowiz Investment Business Division, GXC Danny Woo, code name Bom CEO Shin Won-chul, and Tripul Games CEO Chung Man-son will be the speakers. Applicants can experience 10 promising indie games and give feedback in the two hours they reserve. Excellent questionnaire writers will also be given prizes such as gaming monitors.
On the 31st, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., 13 game companies, 14 investment companies and publishers will participate in the IR Demo Day. Participants seek to attract project investment and advance into the global market through IR pitching, investment counseling, and game demonstration booths.
In addition, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the same day, 'Global Entry and AI Utilization Seminar' will be held. Nerdistar Kim Bada will present the theme of "'Game Development with AI, redefining Role' and SuperPlanet PM Kang Dae-hwan will present the theme of 'IndiGame's Global Entry Strategy'.
Legal counseling, which is a vulnerability of small and medium-sized game companies, will also be held during the event. This year, lawyers Jang Hyo-joon and Shin Jae-yoon of the law firm Mission, which are active at the Gyeonggi-do Content Legal Support Center, will be in charge of counseling. The event is open to anyone interested in small and medium-sized games, such as gamers, developers, entrepreneurs, and students.
