Gyeongin Ara Waterway's Jeong Seo-jin turns into a venue for a heated dragon boat competition!

The Korea Federation of Maritime Boys (President Kim Kyung-bae, CEO of HMM) successfully held the 「National University Dragon Boat Competition" in Jeongseojin, Gyeongin Ara Waterway, from September 28 to 29 with the support of Jae (Ocean Clothing).
As this competition was the first university competition, it was an important opportunity for Dragon Boat to become a new content for water sports in Korea.
The competition, which involved nine universities nationwide (Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Hongik University, Sejong University, Seoul National University of Education, Hanseo University, Chonnam National University, Silla University, and Dong-A University), competed fiercely in a variety of events, including six formal competitions and the extra-parliamentary event, pushback. In particular, Silla University received attention by winning the overall title with even performances in all categories.
Jeongseo-jin, where the competition was held, was filled with young enthusiasm, and the cheering squad of each university constantly cheered the players with slogans and shouts to enhance the atmosphere of the stadium. Although it was the first university dragon boat competition, the contestants were immersed in the charm of dragon boats and had a heated match.
With Shilla University winning the overall championship, a player who participated in the competition said, `I am so happy to win the first competition, and I will continue to try to show good performance in the next competition as I have achieved good results with my team members.'
An official of the competition said, `The enthusiasm of college students in this competition was very impressive"We will work hard to expand opportunities for more universities to participate next year to establish itself as a true national competition." He also expressed his gratitude to the Korea Fishing and Marine Environment Corporation for sponsoring all the universities and goods participating in the competition
