 The Korea Racing Authority holds the 1st Labor-Management Joint Work-Family Bilateral Committee

The Korea Racing Authority (Chairman Jung Ki-hwan) held the 1st Labor-Management Joint Working-Family Coexistence Committee on the 5th and discussed ways to improve the support system for overcoming the low birth rate and working-family balance.

As a public company, the Korea Racing Authority (KRA) is an organization that actively participates in the government's stance to overcome low birth rates and jointly deliberates and decides on improvement tasks to create a culture and system for work-family balance within the organization.

The committee, co-chaired by the chairman of the Korea Racing Authority and the chairman of the Korea Racing Authority, plans to carry out 10 key tasks in three areas, including ▶ expanding the birth congratulatory money and improving the work system during pregnancy ▶ improving the workplace daycare facilities and child care leave system ▶ strengthening the promotion of work-family balance through the Korea Racing Authority.

Prior to the meeting, Chairman Chung Ki-hwan of the Korea Racing Authority said, `As the head of the agency, we will make fundamental changes and innovations to overcome the low birth rate and to foster both work and family.'"We will actively support parents who are expecting childbirth and create a happy workplace for parents through childcare support to create an organization where work and family are compatible."

Hong Ki-bok, chairman of the Korea Racing Authority (KRA), said, `The launch of the Joint Work-Family Cooperation Committee is a meaningful start for the unions and companies to cooperate to create a better future, and we sincerely hope that this committee will help us find work-family balance and come up with practical ways for everyone to coexist.'

In the future, the Korea Racing Authority plans to listen to the opinions of various organizational members, such as junior boards, management innovation working groups, prospective parents, and infant parents meetings, to discover additional improvement tasks, and to increase acceptance and satisfaction within the organization.
