A 7-year-old girl who was bitten by a poisonous snake almost lost her life while receiving the wrong treatment.

According to the Daily Mail and other foreign media, Ally Brathfield, 7, of Arizona, USA, got up after tripping on the grass while playing in Gilbert Regional Park with her family. But the next day, my left leg was swollen and turned purple. I also felt nauseous.

Medical staff at a local hospital said X-ray tests showed no abnormalities in the bones and that the ankle appeared to be sprained.

On the same day, several tests were conducted in the emergency room of another hospital, but they made the same diagnosis as 'ankle sprain'.

But the girl's nausea got worse and worse and she even started vomiting.

As a result, the family took their daughter to a large hospital and tested her again.

The medical team conducted a blood toxicity test, saying it seemed to have been bitten by a snake, and concluded that it had been bitten by a rattlesnake.

The antidote is most effective within 24 hours of snake bite, but the girl was already 30 hours old.

The medical team immediately performed treatment such as detoxification injection and removal of damaged tissue along with blood transfusion, and fortunately, the girl is recovering.
