Implementation of Gyeongsang National University Hospital 'Emergency Staff Capacity Building Training'

Gyeongsang National University Hospital (Hospital Director Ahn Sung-ki) announced that from 9:40 a.m. on the 30th, it has conducted 'Emergency Crew Capacity Building Training' for paramedics from the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters in the conference room of the regional trauma center.
This training was jointly organized by the Gyeongsang National University Hospital's public health and medical office and the regional trauma center, and was designed to strengthen paramedics' ability to cope with emergencies in the pre-hospital transfer and transfer process.
The educational program consisted of ▲ theory and practice of applying musculoskeletal splints (Professor Geun-tae Kim of orthopedics) ▲ Understanding of Abdominal Trauma Patients (Professor Lim Jung-woo of General Trauma Surgery) ▲ Prehospital Care for Patients with Traumatic Critical hemorhage ▲ Early Evaluation and Treatment of Head Trauma Patients (Professor Jeong Jin-myung of Traumatic Neurosurgery) and according to the subject, specialists at the Regional Trauma Center of Gyeongsang National University Hospital conducted on-site lectures.
We hope that today's training will improve the ability of paramedics in charge of primary first aid and transportation in the event of an emergency patient, and help secure golden time for severe emergency patients, said Hwajeongseok, vice president of the public sector at Gyeongsang National University Hospital.
On the other hand, Gyeongsang National University Hospital, as a regional responsible medical institution in Gyeongsangnam-do, is doing its best to serve as a health safety net for local residents by continuously providing capacity-building education for health care institutions and firefighting institutions in the community.
