Incheon Himchan General Hospital to Improve Medical Quality 'QI Competition'S Compensation

On the 16th, the Sangwon Medical Foundation Incheon Himchan General Hospital (Hospital Director Kim Bong-ok) held the '3rd QI Competition" to improve medical quality in the auditorium on the 10th floor.
The Quality Improvement (QI) competition is designed for hospital members to measure and evaluate the quality of hospital medical services in a planned and systematic way with the aim of continuously improving the quality of medical services.
For strict screening, a total of 10 teams continued their heated presentations as judges, including Park Hye-young, chairman of the Senate Medical Foundation, Kim Bong-ok, director of the hospital, Son Hyo-moon, head of the QPS, Kim Hwirin, head of the infection control division, Kim Hyun-jin, head of the nursing division, and Seo Myung-won, head of the administrative division.
In this QI competition, a total of 10 teams, including the radiology team, surgical nursing team, diagnostic and examination medicine team, ward 9 nursing team, internal and surgical nursing team, general administration department, ward 6 nursing team, emergency nursing team, dialysis nursing team (CQI), and health examination team (CQI), participated and announced excellent cases applying various information and processes for each department.
On this day, the grand prize was awarded to the surgical nursing team, which announced the theme of 『Activities to Improve the Performance of Surgical Nursing for Scrub Nurses with less than 3 years of experience』, and the best prize was awarded to the radiology team, which announced"reduction in patient waiting time caused by crowding of inpatients subject to X-ray examination from 8 to 9 o'clock," and the excellence prize to the internal and surgical nursing teams, which announced"Minimizing patient movement and streamlining work".
"It was a meaningful place for all members to share various ideas obtained from their experiences accumulated in their respective fields to provide the best medical services to patients," said Kim Bong-ok, head of the hospital. "Incheon Himchan General Hospital will do its best to continue to provide safe and high-quality patient-centered medical services."
