Kim Hyun-hee, vice president of the social work team at Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital, was elected in the 23rd online presidential election of the Korea Medical Social Workers Association on the 16th. The term of office is two years from January 2025.
Kim, the next president of the association, who has been working as a medical social worker at Ewha Womans University Mok-dong Hospital for 29 years since 1995, continues to carry out medical social welfare activities at the hospital. In addition, efforts are being made to secure and revitalize a medical social welfare safety net, such as establishing a health and medical welfare network in the local community.
The association continued its activities to improve the rights and interests of medical social workers and strengthen their expertise. With his extraordinary passion and dedication, he received two commendations from the Minister of Health and Welfare for his contributions to strengthening the health security of medical and social welfare sites and strengthening national medical security on the 12th Social Welfare Day in 2018 through his executive activities at the association for 28 years from 1996.
