Kim Yo Jong, the younger brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, was also seen bending over and assisting Kim Joo-ae, who is known as Kim Jong-un's eldest daughter.

Channel A News reported on the 29th that the successor status of Kim Jong-un's daughter Kim Joo-ae has been upgraded.

The video released by the media showed a banquet commemorating the 79th anniversary of the founding of the North Korean Workers' Party held on the 10th. Kim Jong Un put Kim Joo-ae right next to him.

Kim Joo-ae whispered to the Russian ambassador to North Korea first, and sat side by side with Foreign Minister Choi Sun-hee, laughing and having a conversation.

The NIS today cited this as a symbolic scene in which Joo-ae's successor status was elevated.

A noticeable scene was also spotted at a ceremony in Pyongyang, North Korea, two months ago.

Kim Yo Jong, who was smiling when Kim walked behind Kim Jong Un, bowed slightly in front of Kim Joo-ae and extended his arm to guide him.

Kim Joo-ae only stood upright and watched her aunt.

The National Intelligence Service reported at the parliamentary audit that `Kim Joo-ae's status seems to have been partially upgraded.'
