Recently, a video of a female employee kissing flour dough was posted on social media 'Facebook' and 'Instagram' in the kitchen of a branch in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia of the global pretzel chain 'Anti Anne's'.
The woman put her mask down her chin and sniffed the dough with her nose or touched her mouth several times.
I also kneaded the dough with my bare hands without wearing gloves.
After the video was released, netizens criticized it.
As the controversy intensified, the Malaysian distributor 'Antians' posted an apology on social media acknowledging the employee's wrongdoing.
The company, which said it fired its employees immediately, stressed that it is committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety and does not tolerate unsanitary behavior.
The store where the video was filmed will be temporarily closed for disinfection and cleaning, it said.
Meanwhile, Antiens, an American pretzel chain brand, first opened in 1988 and currently operates more than 1,500 branches worldwide.
In Korea, it first began operating in 2001 and has franchises nationwide.
