Kokone M (CEO Grace Yoon), the Korean subsidiary of Kokone Group, will release the Korean version of "Lively Island" on the market on November 7 and the Korean version of "Pocket Twin" on November 28.
Founded in Japan in 2008 by Korean IT company Chairman Chun Yang-hyun, Kokone Group has dominated Japan in social service apps using avatars such as Pokémon Koro and Hello Sweet Days (Korean service name: Hello Kitty Sweet Party). Currently, it has established corporations in eight cities in six countries around the world, including New York, Tallinn, Shanghai, centering on Seoul, Tokyo, and Fukuoka, and provides unique virtual world service apps centered on avatars and decorations.
"Lively Island" has been a hit since its release in 2021, with 10 million downloads as of October 2024. Rivly, born in alchemy, is a service app that fosters and empathizes with mysterious creatures, and is currently gaining popularity around the world in Japanese, English, and Chinese. The fourth language, the Korean language service, starts with the fact that the Lively Research Institute, which had been only one of the world, opened in Seoul.
