Kolmar B&H Acquires ESG Integrated A-Grade for the First Time in the Dry-Type ODM Industry
◇Colmar B&H's first sustainability management report published this year

Kolmar B&H became the first health functional food ODM industry to acquire an integrated A grade in the '2024 ESG Rating Assessment' published by the Korea ESG Standards Institute.

The Korea ESG Standards Institute (KCGS) is a publicly trusted institution that annually evaluates the level of sustainable management in the environmental (E), social (S), and governance (G) sectors for domestic listed companies. This year, a total of 1,001 listed companies (794 securities listed companies and 207 KOSDAQ listed companies) were evaluated, of which only 18 KOSDAQ listed companies received a comprehensive A grade. Kolmar B&H is the only health functional food ODM industry to receive an A grade, and through this achievement, it has solidified its position as a leader in ESG management.

Kolmar B&H shows a remarkable performance, especially in the social and governance areas, with its rating up one step each year-on-year. In the social (S) sector, ISO 45001 safety and health management system certification was maintained in all manufacturing facilities to strengthen worker safety and to prove a safe working environment by recording critical accidents '0 cases' for three consecutive years. In addition, it has continued to strive to improve employee welfare and working environment through family-friendly corporate certification.

In the governance (G) sector, the company has integrated the Anti-Corruption Management System (ISO 37001) and the Compliance Management System (ISO 37301) to establish a transparent and trusted management system across the company. In addition, an ESG dedicated organization has been established to promote practical improvement in environment, society and governance, and ESG committees under the board of directors and organizations promoting sustainable management are working together to achieve mid- to long-term goals by discussing major ESG issues.

Kolmar B&H also published its sustainability management report for the first time this year to transparently disclose ESG management performance and vision, working on eco-friendly management and establishing transparent governance.

"This acquisition of an ESG rating is a result of the recognition of the company's eco-friendly management and social responsibility practices," said Yeo-won Yoon, CEO of Colmar B&H. "As a global No. 1 R&D production company, we will continue to work harder to protect the environment and create social value to establish ourselves as a trusted sustainable company."
