According to Vietnamese media such as VN Express, a 29-year-old living in Ho Chi Minh City recently put a metal bearing on his genital after drinking alcohol.
Since then, it has become swollen and painful, so I tried to take out the metal ring, but to no avail.
Eventually, he was taken to a hospital by his family.
The urology medical staff, along with orthopedics, began cutting the bearings using saws.
After about 30 minutes of effort, the medical staff safely removed the 7cm bearing.
The specialist said "It was a situation where the penile skin could be necrotic"You should never put foreign substances in even with curiosity or playfulness."
Two days after the operation, the patient who recovered health went home.
