Professor Ahn Kyu-jung of the Department of Endocrine Metabolism at Gangdong Kyunghee University Hospital (Director Lee Woo-in) was elected as the 42nd president of the Korean Diabetes Association. The term of office is one year from January 2025.
The Korean Diabetes Association was established in October 1968 for the purpose of researching diabetes and metabolic diseases and academic exchanges, and under the mission of leading a world free from diabetes and the vision of a world leader that presents global standards for research and treatment of diabetes, it currently operates 4,000 members and affiliated professional committees and research groups.
Chairman Ahn Kyu-jung is the new president of the Korean Diabetes Association and will do his best for the continuous development of the association and the growth of its membersIt is in an important period of leave of absence and leave of absence for students and residents due to the conflict between politics and medicine.
