Founded in 1977, the Korean Society of Personnel Management (Chairman Lee Chun-woo, professor of University of Seoul) is the first and largest human resources labor organization strategy in Korea. In this fall academic conference, various personnel management academic research papers and field cases were presented under the theme of 'Work, People and Technology: The Future of Korean Personnel Management' to drive the growth of organizations and individuals.
The Korea Racing Authority, which was selected as a 'job-oriented personnel management excellent institution', announced an 'institutional case in which the overall personnel management, such as organization, personnel, and remuneration, was advanced to a job-oriented system' at a special session in the morning to share the selected best practices.
In order to reorganize the job-oriented remuneration system that both labor and management agree on, the Korea Racing Authority has completed the transition to the employee annual salary system (2024.1.1.) by forming a dedicated organization, year-round labor-management consultation, and employee briefing sessions. Through this, the performance of strengthening fairness in remuneration and greatly easing seniority was outstanding.
In addition, it is reported that the operation of a substantial job-oriented personnel system, such as conducting employee participatory job evaluation, strengthening workers' job options by regularizing the job competition system, and fostering job experts, was highly evaluated.
Chairman Chung Ki-hwan of the Korea Racing Authority "I am very pleased that the efforts of the Korea Racing Authority to advance job-oriented personnel management have been recognized and have led to good results.""In the future, labor and management will work together to strengthen their job expertise and unite their organizational capabilities so that they can provide better services to the public.""
